Rant time.

I read The Hunger Games last night, and after watching the trailer I don’t know how I feel about the actors in the movie. I don’t even know if I want to watch it. I like Jennifer Lawrence, but Woody Harrelson as Haymitch is so far from what I pictured him. I think Harrelson’s is a great actor, but in my mind Haymitch was always a fat, unwashed drunk, almost like Mad-Eye Moody in appearance. And Liam Hemsworth? Eugh. Josh Hutcherson? I’ve never watched him in anything but going by looks, I would’ve preferred Hunter Parrish . Oh well, I guess I just have to wait and see, but it’s rare that a movie is as good as the book. For me at least.

The soundtrack isn’t at all appealing to me apart from Arcade Fire (and maybe Kid Cudi) and the score. I can’t stand Taylor Swift, but at least it’s better than the usual stuff she writes I guess :/
